With the bridal show season is in full-swing, don’t delay when it comes to choosing a service provider for your wedding. Whether it’s photography, video, or entertainment, now is the time to act.

During this time of the year, there are thousands of couples planning their weddings in the Western Pennsylvania area. The interest level in spring, summer, and fall dates increases significantly. And, because we only commit to one wedding per day, sometimes we must refer business to another studio, simply because we are already contracted for that date.

Always trust your instinct. If you know that you would like to hire a particular photographer, videographer, or entertainment service, follow your instinct. The last thing that you want to do is take days to secure the service, only to find that in the interim, somebody else has hired that service.

Take a day or two to meet the candidates. Make sure that you like what they do. Make sure that you like them. Ask questions. Ask yourself if you can tolerate the person for the amount of time that they will be contracted for.

When you are 80 percent sure that you know who to hire, hire them!(the other 20 percent may just be hesitation).

This will help assure that you will hire your first choice, and not your second, third, or hopefully not ‘whoever you can find’!.
