FAQ
Am I able to purchase high resolution image files from my wedding?
High resolution files that can be printed are included as part of our service!
What is required to secure James McCullough Photography for my wedding date?
The first step is to contact us immediately to check availability for your date. If your date is available, we will need an executed contract and first retainer of $500 to secure your date. We cannot hold a date, either by phone or email, without these items.
What happens if we would like to contract James McCullough for more than the four hours included in the base coverage?
James McCullough does not commit himself to more than one wedding event on any given date. Additional time is always available on an ‘as needed’ basis. Prior to the event, you will be contacted to discuss details of the wedding day, including an approximate time schedule. The decision to add additional time is always at the discretion of the client.
Does James McCullough bring an assistant to help photograph a wedding?
Typically, he does not. However, if you feel that you would like to have a second photographer capturing images at your wedding, that arrangement can be made. Fees for an additional photographer vary, but typically are approximately an additional $350 for the day.
How long does it take to see my images following my wedding?
Your high resolution images are delivered to you within one week of your wedding date.
Does James McCullough Photography make online proofing available?
Since you receive all of your wedding images, you may choose to upload them to one of many online viewing resources available to you.
How long does James McCullough keep my images on file?
We guarantee storage of all client files, redundantly(2 copies), for one month after the wedding date. This gives the client sufficient time to backup all of their images on their own computer.
Does James McCullough Photography have an additional charge for multiple locations during the wedding day?
No. The service for the day is time based, regardless of number of locations.
My wedding is out of town. Is there an additional travel fee?
Every wedding contract has a built-in travel allowance of 1.5 hours(total). In most cases, this is sufficient time to travel within the Greater Pittsburgh area. Travel time beyond 1.5 hours is billed in one-half hour increments, or can be a fixed rate, depending on the location and discussion with the client.
Does James McCullough have experience in the photography of ethnic weddings?
Yes. James has photographed many weddings of varied ethnicities, customs, and traditions.
